REALLY want to do a lift, but no money right now. Deciding between the Old Man Emu Light Duty and a PRG kit.
yeah, i am starting to mod a little. figured out how to upgrade to an 18" wiper on the rear, added the AVS bugshield, gonna change all the fluids tomorrow, gonna do something about the radiator/tranny issue with an aftermarket tranny cooler, gonna do the hood-rod mod soon, rustoelum the undercarriage to protect from salt next winter, and add the OEM body moldings. that;s all that is currently in the works. I'd like to do a 2" spacer/AAL lift but this'll have to wait, i need help with it and that help isn't in MN, so i'll do it when i get to tennessee and have those guys work with me
so, this is kind of an involved/long story. it's well documented on thenewx.org . to start: as you may know, all cars for the last few decades with auto trannies run the ATF through the radiator to heat the ATF when cold and cool it when hot. Nissans going back to the 80's (pathfinders mostly) have had an issue with radiator failure causing the coolant and ATF to mix which causes coolant in the tranny and a cooked tranny (possibly causing $5000-7000 in repairs). recently the 05-07 X's and frontiers have had this problem, it's rare, but it's out there. so, some guys are bypassing the radiator circuit and only running the factory tranny cooler +/- an add-on aftermarket cooler. the guys who have done it range from arizona/california to canada and they report the only problem is a little rough shifting for a little longer since the ATF doesn't get heated by the radiator. no other problems have been reported. i'm probably overly worried as no 08 or 09 has reported the issue. my concern is that ANY car can have this failure and my internet research shows that tranny/radiator shops will routinely bypass the radiator and add an aftermarket tranny cooler in customer cars to fix or prevent this issue. my thought is, $40-$70 for an add-on cooler vs $5000 in a new tranny? i'd rather play it safe and bypass the radiator

ok, i'll have to see what i have done . . . it isn't much.
ok, updated. seriously, no big mods, just a few things like a lobo rack, hood rod mod, power inverter, oem side moldings, removed mud flaps and steprails.
Haven't done any lift or armoring yet. gotta pay down some debts and save up to buy the PRG advanced Lift and NXRocks sliders/skids.

updated the mod list (nothing earth-shattering), but i really don't have any other cool pictures
