removing ac high pressure line from condensor?

Hi I was wondering if anyone has any insight as to how to remove the ac high pressure line from the condensor? I think it's the condesor, it looks like a rad? Anyways, it has two hoses going in one being the high line and it looks like it has a 1/4" plate with a nut. I'm assuming I loosen the nut and the plate comes off. However I bought the new line and the end is already flared with the o-ring, how do you get the plate over the flared end? I haven't actually looked at it close.
Thanks

Your talking about the line that runs from the compressor to the condenser? It should have the solid aluminum block fittings with the bolt hole in it already installed. all you do is take the bolts out of each end and pull the hose out. Lube up the new O-ring and install the new hose and install. Then vacuum down your AC system to check for leaks and get the moisture out. And fill.

BTW you should replace the receiver/drier if your opening the system since your X is over 5 years old.

Dustin I think mine was $77 shipped from Courtesy.
