Hey Guys, this is my first post on here! I'll be getting my sisters Xterra when i move to minnesota in a couple months. The glass on the housing is very "oxidized" i guess you could say. I guess my two questions are: 1) how do you replace the headlight housing? and 2) what bulbs are brightest and best to use? would you recommend HID's? Thank you all so much!
Have you tried to restore the lens? I would do that first. You can buy complete headlight housing from the parts stores or amazon, but I would try the restore kit first. You can get them at Walmart
Looking on ebay, I saw some aftermarket headlight housing that look pretty cool. Has any had any experience with them? How 'bout LED's? I've got one housing that's broken and I can either replace that one for about $70 or switch both to get a 'cooler' look. They're also fogged over so I'll have to sand the one I have if I decide to keep them stock.
