Just picked up my X two weeks ago and just got around to putting spark plugs in it. Trucks got 153k miles and I think these were original spark plugs...!
Look at dat gap. Spec is 41 thou... this has got to be at least 60 thou! Can anybody confirm if these are original plugs? They're the NGK PRF5G-11 Double Platinums. If they are, they don't look that bad for 153k miles!
it was still running? they definitely look like original with that much wear/rust. but don't know for sure. hear you on the fun of #6. hear it's worse on supercharged.
Kidding of course. Those are pretty damn bad. Mine had a ton of sludge build up. Was still wet and could hardly get the socket around them with how much stuff was in the tube.
6 really wasnt bad. Read all the horror stories but it didnt take me any longer than the rest of them?
T-Belt has been changed at 80k miles said the PO. We'll see about that... but if it blows oh well, got the truck for a steal anyways!
