How to tell if I have a stock amp, and can I use it?

Looking at the radio in my 03 X, it appears to have no Rockford symbol anywhere on it, and the sound quality is junk.

But, when looking under the hood, there is a fuse in the amp slot.

Just curious where it is located, and is it possible to run RCA inputs into it. If it is, what are the specs on the amp?

I've got a set of infiniti speakers, a tablet, and all the wiring ready to go. But if I can use the rockford amp instead of the one I already have, I'd like to.

...running a tablet to a usb audio converter to an amp.

Was just curious if the stock rockford unit was worth utilizing, and if not, where it is so as to remove it.

Seems like a good place to mount the little 4channel. I have.

See I do have tweeters in the pillars.

But it seems to be a normal headunit.

Becore I tackle the headgadkets which cost money and down time, I have tons of audio stuff laying around.

I'll pop the panels off soon and see.

Does anyone make roof pods like a cherokee sport?

Or has anyone mounted a 4 in each rear door

Finished tonight.

Infinity components in the front.
Infinity 6x9s in the rear.
Infinity aw1060 sub.
Two Soundstream pn4.520d amps.

Gotta clean up the wiring a bit...it just got a bit cold to hang out in the shop.

Both amps are class D amps and ventless designs. Since both are being run at 4 ohm and with the gains set low... I don't expect any heat issues.

The headunit was replaced with a leftover Nexus 7 tablet from my Suzuki.

Sounds GREAT for a budget system.
