My stock xterra wheels are 15x7 with a 5.5 back space, I've found some Ion alloy 186 wheels that are 15x8 with +25 offset that CarID informs me is the same thing. Does anyone know is this true or not, cause I can trim some plastic...I just don't want to trim metal
Yes, both wheels have the same backspace. The 15x8 +25 wheels will sit approximately 1" further out towards the fender though when compared to where the factory wheels sit; inside clearance towards the suspension is the same. What size tires do you plan on running?

Yes they have the same BS but like what the Discount tire guy said. the rim is a wider rim so it will pop out a little more than the stock rim but as long as you are running stock size tires or similar you shouldn't have much issue with them. At most, you'll have to trim some plastic but you shouldn't have to trim metal.
