I haven't seen a commercial for an Xterra in a long time. Maybe it is a result of the channels I watch (or don't watch) but does Nissan have the relationship with the Xterra that Jeep did with the XJ Cherokee? Basically a popular model they couldn't kill off! USA XJ Cherokee disappeared, but the Liberty is sold as "Cherokee" in overseas markets.
I see commercials for Nissan dealerships and they rarely even show an Xterra, never feature a deal on them... just wondering. I see a bunch of us on the road, though.

@Tarditi I see a lot of Xterra out and about too. They don't seem to be advertised anymore. Not that I see. However, I have read that now that the Pathfinder has evolved to a crossover soccermom, Nissan will hang on to their true SUV breed. There are only a few more options on the market (Xterra, FJ, Jeeps, etc). It's a fading genre, but certainly not dying (let hope...)
