New from PEI.

Just bought a 2003 xterra friday.

Came with 91 000 miles on it

2" PML
32" tires
2 offroad lights on the front on a custom made bracket
2 backup lights, hardwired to the reverse lights mounted under the rear bumper
K and N filter
Cherry bomb glassback? muffler

In the future I would like to add a roof basket, thinking Rola. And some interior cargo management mods.

More of a motorcycle mechanic, limited experience working on vehicles. Currently in a cafe racer build on a 74 honda cb360

So far I have:

Polished the top end
New piston rings and replaced gaskets
rebuilt the clutch and new front brake pads
gapped points, timed valves, cleaned carbs etc
K&N pod filters
Re did all the electrical components under the "seat" on a piece of sheet metal
Painted, frame, engine, tank, cleaned rust off of exhausts, suspension and wheels
new dash and got rid of the tach
Clip ons
new mirrors, grips, turn signals, headlight brackets
De tabbed frame and moved battery to under the "seat"

Saying "seat" because in the process of building a new seat out of fibreglass

Left to do is install and paint the seat, install brakelight and rear turn signals, licence plate bracket
Have handmade aluminum rearsets that I turned on a lathe in shop class, need to install, and I need to fix some charging issues

I also enjoy waterfowling, snaring rabbits, fly fishing, snowboarding and skeet shooting.

Our best hunt of 2013.
