Just picked up a 2004 XE and have found tons of info on here already.

Looking to do the airbox mod with K&N first as well as PML.

Make sure you read about timing belt replacement (105K miles) along with water pump and tensioner bearing.

Thanks for the heads up. I bought it used from a dealer and they had just performed the 90K service on it which included all belts, tensioner, timing belt, water pump, filters, etc. I asked to see the service record for proof and they did. They even gave me the warranty on their work.
