Hi,
I am new to this forum. I became a member to do some research for a friend that has a 2000 Xterra. I am going to be changing the timing belt for him this week.

Welcome to the club!

The timing belt is one of the most popular topics on the forum. Takes a good bit of planning so definitely check through some of the topics of what other people have gone through as well as the DIY with photos and you should be golden

Good luck!

Thanks! I actually put it back together yesterday. I started it before I filled it with antifreeze and it sounded good for the second I had it running. My fingers are crossed that it will be good to go once I get the oil change finished and I can drive it a little. I did use the info on this site and it made it much easier!
