So My car seems to make a clicking sound anytime the air is on, mostly when the A/C is on but I have heard it when the heat was on once. Why is this? Any tips would be appreciated.

if its below the glove box it could be something has gotten into the blower box. I somehow ended up with some of my sons goldfish in my box. made a horrible noise until I pulled the stuff out.
if your talking about a clicking sound from the engine bay its the compressor clutch engaging and disengaging. in a good working system it shouldnt happen too often, if your system has a leak or other problem with it (like mine) it will click on and off every 10 or 20 seconds. and if its from the engine bay, and your hearing it when the heat is on, you most likely have it on defrost. anytime you turn it to defrost the ac runs to pull the moisture out of the air.

It's from the engine bay and it's like a clicking you can hear when the car over anything when the car is running and whenever I turn off the car I sometimes get a "aahhhaahhh" sound like after someone gets done drinking a cold drink if that makes sense?

Mine has been making that same sound. I has really wanting it not to be the compressor. So I take it that it is best to just replace the compressor or is there something else that can be done.

It should be clicking on and off, so don't let that cause you any grief! It is working as it should!
It is a pressure driven compressor and whenit is working well, it will cycle often.
When they don't cycle at all, is the time to worry!
Raise TBs (X), paint plastics (X), Replace radiator with one that is bigger and will last (X), install roof lights (X), IAB (X), better tires (X), shackles in rear(X), remove rear sway bar (X), Bilsteins (X)
This is not a little rattle!!!! This sounds like a rod is about to come out the side of the block but only when the A/C or Defrost is on. The heat and vent work just fine and I know that it is not the blower I took that apart and checked. I am not sure 100% sure what the sound is but it is under the hood drivers side and it makes a lot of noise!!! When I turn the A/C off you can hear the sound slow down and then stop. I am not sure may need to let a pro look at it.

Oh and all of the dial settings work just fine. Just rattles like crazy when on.

I'm not a mechanic but my father was and as a kid, from middle school through college, I had to work in the shop on weekends, summers and hollidays. From what I've read, and the noise you describe is loud but stops when you turn the AC off, I think the clutch could be going out.
