Tachometer Problems

Sometimes it works the way it is supposed to. Then the needle goes to below zero and stays there. The Dealership told us that the whole cluster would have to be replaced at a cost of $600 + dollars. The vehicle is just 5 yrs old and just paid off. This is the first vehicle, and I have had many, that the tachometer has shit the bed. It is really frustrating, especially since it has had all its check ups and is well maintained.

Get a new cluster from a wrecking yard and do it yourself. It ain't that hard!
