We have finalized some of the events for the upcoming months! We have some amazing stuff going on through April. 2013 is shaping up to be the best year we have had in a long time! Check out the new logo the membership voted in as well. Special thanks again to Rev for designing this logo.
It’s that time of year again where we put together an AZXC gear order. As of today the new stickers are on the way. 7-10 days for printing then shipping. We plan to have the stickers in hand within 2 weeks and out to the membership shortly thereafter. We are also putting together a T-shirt/Hooded Sweatshirt order. Deadline for the first run is Jan 31. Prices and color options are up on the forum under AZXC Gear. Don’t forget to check out the website as well at
www.azxterraclub.com and also make sure you check out the forum new features such as the member map and updated profile settings.
So what is going on in the next few months you may ask? Well in February we have a camping trip coming up. This trip will be held down in the Tucson area the weekend of Feb 15. We have members coming from all over the state and out of state for this event. March we have our annual Chili Cook-off scheduled, date for that is March 16. With all the new members on AZXC it will be interesting to see who the winner will be this year! March 31 AZXC has an Xcursion planned to Smiley Rock; this will be in conjunction with a camping weekend as well. April meeting is scheduled for April 27 and we are working out location for this, but as the temperatures start to rise for the summer and we do not want to leave our members from northern AZ out of the loop the plan is to go up to the Sedona/Flagstaff area for this meeting.
Now for the month of May, as many of you know it’s GoneMoab2013 this year. AZXC is a sponsor for this event for the second year in a row. We are currently in the process of voting on what sponsorship level AZXC will be this year. Check that out the polls on the forum for this and make your vote count.
