squeak

i have an 02 xterra and have an annoying squeak that I cant find. Seems to be front end. Replaced both front shocks as it needed them but squeak still there. Wonder if bushings in a-arms would squeak this bad. Cant handle this squeaking anymore and it looks bad for my Nissan

I had a similar squeak but it the circumstances were a little different. Mine went away when i sprayed down the upper bolt of the fender that is covered by the passenger door with WD-40. If its the same as mine it should squeak when you jump on the passenger side door sill. It doesn't take much time so it might be worth checking out.

My X is doing pretty much the exact same thing Ashlee. Not sure what is happening under there but it sure is annoying. I took it to a car wash yesterday and sprayed as much as I could reach with a washgun and that made no difference. I thought it might have been dirt or something in the joints or whatever but apparently not. I'm gonna try spraying the joints, etc. with WD40 or something tomorrow and see if that helps, if not I'm just going to bring it into my mom's friends shop and let him try and diagnose it. I'll let you know if I find anything out.

Actually I think I may have fixed mine. When I did my BL I removed and Had to Raise the bumper. Since I remounted the bumper I have not heard the high pitched squeak at all. Maybe try re tightening your bumper. It is a weird plastic with alot of plastic mounts and a bolt or two. So if the washers are loose enough to move then It could cause the squeaking.
