interior lighting

i wanna hook up some led or neons in the inside under the front dash. i want to have them come on and go off like the dome lights do tho. i have a 2012 pro. cant seem to find a wiring diagram anywhere for this.

does anyone have any tips or advice. i'm thinking its prolly just a matter of tapping into the dome light wire but dont know its whereabouts.

any helps appreciated!

There should be a dome light wire running up one of the A Pillars.

CAREFUL!!!!! Just "tapping" into wires on newer vehicles can be hazardous to both your vehicles delicate electronics (yes even dome light wiring) and then your wallet. I am a car audio installer, i can get the tech sheet on its wiring tomorrow, and reply tomorrow evening if you can wait. A lot of the newer cars and tructs are using "multiplex" systems and should be tested with a computer safe multi-meter and not your typical test light. Even the tech data I get for each vehicle has a disclaimer to state they dont guarantee the accuracy of the data and advise you to test a verify every wire b4 connecting to it.
