ok so selling the xterra didnt go so well soo back to upgrading. im looking for a sun or moon roof. i dont have one but want one so bad. y scion tc used to have one. where can i get it done an how much.
I have one in my 01X. if the wind is just right at highway speeds it hums.
the basket (if you have one) has to go to open it.
it draws air, dust or rain in to the vehicle.
Only thing I like about it is to pop it open when it isn't going to rain to keep the heat at a tolerable level.
Mine doesn't leak, but does contribute to some noise at 70ish.
and whats wrong with cutting one out of a dead X? Just like any other patch panel that a reliable body shop puts in a vehicle.
I haven't dealt with aftermarket sun roofs, other than when I had my old 71 hotrod truck. everyone I talked to with one or had one, leaked.
