You know you drive an Xterra when your several miles back in the bush and your Toyota driving friend blows his engine while trying to get it out of a mud hole, and you drag his crippled truck out of the mud, up several hills, through a couple miles of trails to a parking lot. Then you start thinking of doing the same trail again asap.
when you want to wash the mud off er when shes 13 years old and runnin great! and when people call it that jeep over there or you mean that jeep? and in reply i say you mean that xterra as i would never be driving a jeep, jeeps are POS Chrysler products!

You know you drive an x when you leave any place of business by mounting the curb and plowing through any innocent landscaping that happens to be in your way, all with a smile.
....When you check your articulation on the hill in front of your house after you came back from a run.
....When you're draining your wallet across from a Wrangler on 35s at the Gas pumps and people want to know more about your rig.
....When the guy in the Wrangler looks at your rig and rolls his eyes because you have "battle scars" and his rig looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor.
....Hickerbillies check your rig and give a smile and nod as they hop into their bobbed 'yota rolling on Swampers!
