Hey all I have been lurking the forum for a few weeks now and decided to join. I am 22 live in Napa CA, have always had a thing for the outdoors and love wheelin. This is my 14th vehicle, 5th truck but first X. My first Truck was a Cherokee with 32'' tsls and a 3.5 inch lift from there I went through a lot of swaps and had a few different toyota pickups.
I got my X 2 months ago from a cool guy out in the sf area who was looking to sell It was a very reasonable price and I had been looking for a couple weeks. Ive always had a crush on the xterra since the first time I saw a lifted 1st gen with a bright blue shackles and a roof rack back in middle school, but they were usually out of my price range.
So now I have one of my own: Its a 2002 supercharged auto dark green in stock form. It came with some pretty worn (15%) 265/75/16 discovery st tires so I talked the guy down a few hundred bucks on the sell.
As of TODAY
I ordered my BL and PML from 4x4parts.com (The gentlemen who helped me was named Chris and he was very helpful in getting me a better shipping quote), and a set of Cragar black D 15x8 steel wheels with a 4.75 BS off summitracing.com, (best price after shipping I could find.) So now I play the waiting game, I have not decided on tires yet although as you probably have guessed I am planning on running 33x12.5x15s so any suggestions welcome.
My other Nissan is a 91 240sx hatch, Sr20det swap s15 bb turbo tubular bottom mount manifold, greddy rs bov, full exhaust, front mount intercooler, powered by max gen 1 coilovers, ikeya inner tie rods s14 moog outers, s14 knuckls z32 brake swap and 5 lug conversion, with rpf1 replica wheels. Its ugly and its dirty but it sure is a lot of fun!
Anyway I hope to meet some new people here and I will be starting a Build thread once everything arrives and I get going. If you are located near the Ca Bay area post up I have no xterra friends yet and I hope to change that!
