from Canada the panic looks weird [marketing ploy?]. but someone on e bay is trying to get his college fund with a $1000000 box. At least it has a free Mazda 626 with the box. Just wondering, if they will survive forever- anyone got plans for a bomb shelter built out of 'em? Might just be a good blast shield.

Ever since Hostess went into Bankruptcy (again) earlier this year I've had a heck of a time finding my Hostess vice; Coffee Cakes. Not those 100cal posers either but the ones fully covered in cinnamon & sugar!
Then when I could find them, I'd buy 2 or 3 boxes at a time but they just don't last. So I'd say if you want to remember the fresh taste of Hostess, eat them up sooner rather than later if you're going to stockpile.

As was said previously, I just don't see some of those products going away. Some company will buy up the rights but it could be that they are just too expensive to produce with the costs of raw ingredients going up.

Oh and I was all like 'stupid Unions' too until I read about how poorly the Company has been managed over the last decade. It's no wonder they went out of business.

I wonder how all those who paid ridiculous prices for Ebay Twinkies are gonna feel if this works out.
