Changing diff oil. Which rear one do I have.

Looking through the FSM and noticed that there are 2 different rear diffs listed, one having a far bigger oil capacity than the other. How do I tell which one I have? It's an 02 XE V-6.

The easiest way to tell is by what engine you have. If you have the 2.4L 4 cylinder engine then go by capacities for the KA24DE, if you have a 3.3L V6 then go with what it says under VG33E-R.

That should get you all taken care of

Cool, one more question. Is there a way to tell if its an lsd without jacking the rear end up?

Sometimes there's a sticker on the rear diff, the easiest thing to do is just buy fluid oil that already has the additive

Yup there'd be a little white sticker in the center of the cover. It's not an easy one to take off either so it would still be there.
