ARB Air lockers for your Xterra!

Just Differentials carries a full line of ARB air lockers, ARB Compressors, and all the parts you will need to install an Air Locker in your Xterra. ARB air lockers are the ideal choice for multi-purpose vehicles because they increase off road capability but still keep the drivability of a stock vehicle.

Send us an email to Info@JustDifferentials and our sales staff will help you locate the correct parts for your Xterra.

Bringing this back up, these lockers are great for increasing traction during snow wheeling.

Sweet! What are you thinking about doing? I really like the older Xterras for a light duty overland rig/ DD.

I'm taking my 2001 that's got a bazillion miles on it and a snapped timing belt/engine with a hole in it...and taking off all the mods, to put them on ANOTHER 1st gen X.

I figure as long as its apart, I might as well throw in a rear locker.

I have a front already in my spare parts pile.

My biggest hurdle right now on that issue is that my old rig is manual, and has 4.6 diffs....

..and all the used ones I see have 4.9 diffs.

THAT means the already in the 4.6 diff FRONT locker, would need to be swapped into a 4.9 diff, to match the rear 4.9....

..or I keep the old rear 4.6, and replace the new rig's 4.9 with it.

BUT, I'd RATHER have 4.9's than 4.6's.

Well, I'd RATHER have 5 point-something-high diffs, instead of 4 point-something, but now I'm doing BOTH diffs....

You know, it might be simpler just to build HP60s or 609s!
