does anyone use fuel chips? or have unbiased opinion about them?

GOAL: save MPG$
Chips are a gimmic and nothing more. My truck gets 15 mpg and if a stocker is not getting more then that your state of tune sucks or you need to change your driving style.

intender closest place with ethanol free gas is about 36 mile round trip, and $.60 more a gallon than what I am paying locally for ethanol gas. $10 more per fill up and 2 gallons of gas burned round trip. Not sure its worth the trouble for regular fill ups, but I will keep it handy for longer trips. Thanks for the info.

We drove it to florida this summer and i found a few stations on the way that had non ethanol fuel that was only available in premium (what i run in the g35 anyway) and was very happy. I saved the stations in the gps so i could stop at them on the way back. saved me about $60 in gas round trip.

The wifes mdx could care less what kind of fuel you put in it. it gets about 1mpg different as long as you run premium.

you can even download the lists to your garmin if you have one. They have an iphone app too.

Swamp-Man I get about 14-15MPG with my X with very little highway driving. I am quite happy with that for a supercharged brick on wheels. If you want fuel economy then get a used Toyota Yaris type of car for daily driving.

SamsXE No one ever said they were cheap to run...fuel-wise at least. Get a motorcycle and ride that on days when you can?

BryceT.York yeah the whole "SAVE MPGS AND GAIN 100 HP "chip is a scam.wish it wasnt though..

miskywhisky There is no magic chip out there that will do a lick of good (ie pay for its self) for the 1st gen. Your options are deal with it or sell it.

intender wheres the 0-10 option in your poll?

but seriously i get about 10mpg on average. occasionally these days with the 33's, if I am lucky I might get up to around 12mpg.
