Gas odor - need some diagnostic help!

I dont know if I knocked something loose playing in the snow or what - but I now have a fairly strong gas smell coming in through my vents when running my heater. I don't seem to notice it as much with just the fan on. It is strongest when I am stopped, and goes away almost entirely when moving. I have not seen fuel pooling on my garage floor, nor have I seen anything loose under the hood, or noticably broken or loose underneath. Granted, the water and muck from the melting snow on my garage floor has hampered my inspection efforts a bit...

Exhaust leak? Fuel leak?

I am at a loss...

Thanks in advance!

No fuel pooling yet...and I only smell it when its running. I pride myself in being able to troubleshoot almost anything and fix it, but this has me stumped right now.

Starting to wonder if it isn't just running rich... Replaced the plugs, wires, cap and rotor today (that #6 plug can suck a fart outta duck's butt) and had the battery disconnected the whole time - 45 mins or so. Was hoping to reset the ECU by doing this. Also plugged the hole in my muffler with epoxy putty, thinking I was getting exhaust in the cabin. Started the truck - no gas smell. drove around a little, no smell. Drove to work, about 11 miles at 60ish mph, truck smelled like gas when I stopped. WTF over?
