Ok I had to disconnect the battery to install the GPS housing on my 2008 Xterra. Now the VDC off/Slip light stay on. I drove around for 20 minutes like the manual said but it did not reset. Should I give it some more time?
Pull your Xterra to an area where you can drive straight ahead without turning the wheel for a couple hundred feet. Have the wheel straight. Turn off engine.
Restart engine and pull straight ahead in drive. Light should go off in a couple hundred feet.
The book is not too clear on this. I believe this will work for you.
