Decided to take my son to a local hotspot where alot of truck meet just to explore, test trucks, get muddy, swamping etc.. This was my first time here. In total as I looked arounf there was about 20+ trucks, various styles from old toyotas, flatbed trucks, pick-ups and alot of Jeeps as usual. Did not see one Nissan truck of any kind. This location is on the north side of Stave lake, basically a huge riverbed flat, alot of deep holes, MUD and Alot of Mud!!! 50% of the time you really have to pick your line or else or being pulled out. Once I have my sway bars and rear lift done this week next time will be alot easier. I will plan another trip there soon, make a fire, roast some dogs, Yummmm.
One lesson I learned not ever water hole is the same. I knew right away half way through I was not in a good state. Sunk it down and got hung up in the middle. Lucky another guy was helpful to pull me out(behind me in the pic). On this picture the water level was up to the drivers door. I just had a blast.
It felt good to get out for the first time in 2013. Loved the 31" mud tires, made my happy. After that we drove up a mountain road up the snow line and low and behold there is this couple in an 2013 audi sports car slowly driving around every mud hole and throwing rocks by hand just to get up. Just dumb if you ask me.
