I removed the fender liner and found it to be pretty tough to get a wrench on the O2 sensor. Is there a trick or tool to make this job quick and easy? 2007 Xterra sensor 1 bank 2
o2 sensor socket
universal swivel
12" extension
ratchet
access it thru the fender well (helps to remove the liner but not a requirement)
Also helps if you run the motor right before trying to remove the sensor. I usually hold the rpm at 3k for a minute before to help heat up the threads to try and stop the sensor pulling the threads out of the manifold.
ps take your time... half turn at a time to help save the threads on the manifold
Good Luck!
