Yes, recommend the headers. Serious zoom-zoom post install. My total cost included the AC headers with Gibson exhaust. Labour cost me a lot because the mechanics had a hell of a time working within the tight confines of the VG33. It's not a mechanic friendly engine compartment. However, every mechanic to see those headers compliments them on how well built they are and how good the welds are.

Total parts/shipping/brokerage/taxes/labour: $2000 CDN. So about 45 cents USD ;-) The headers alone from AC are something like $600 CDN before shipping.

One vital note if you get the headers: Make SURE you specify you are buying the CEL eliminators to go with them. They won't ship them with the headers unless you specify it. This happened to me. You need the CEL extensions on the O2 sensors for the second set of cats. Otherwise the engine picks up the extra O2 blowing through, flips out, and goes into limp mode, killing all your gains and throwing a code.

I just discovered a large crack on my LH exhaust manifold. It is completely split in two and needs to be replaced. I'm considering headers and noticed you have AC's. Are they worth it? How much did it cost? My local mech suggests Gibson headers and says he'll do it all for $900.
