I'm thinking October for this trip, should provide us with some nice weather and hopefully less bugs. I'm aiming for a Saturday trip. It's about 3 hours from the Baltimore area, we can all meet there or find a place to meet up. This will be the first time most of us have meet I believe so it should be a good time. So anyone interested reply saying so and vote on a date!

I had the dash all apart and started locating wires but just didn't know enough to start splicing/ cutting etc.

Now I know a shop will install it but it'd be pricey so anyone somewhat close to the Albany area be willing to help me out with the install? I can supply lunch or whatever for the help just don't want to dish out $150 + right now for the install ...

Cliffs:

NEED HELP WITH REMOTE START INSTALL in Albany NY area, will travel for help!!!

thanks!

will help you with anything else needed to be done to your X!

I have a BL I need help to install seeing as all my friends are into Subie's, Honda's, etc. I'm out of the New Haven area in Connecticut. As of right now I cannot drive due to a suspended license (It's a long story) but if anyone is close and can help me out and maybe come to my house and help me get this installed I can pay you handsomely. I know a lot of you work for beer which is not a problem but I can pay cash too. I'm just not willing to front $100+ for a shop to do it when I can get someone else to help me out. If you're willing to help, reply to this thread or just PM me and we'll go from there!
Thanks,

Well today was my first time on any trails in the X, or at all. It was all private land we had permission to use. The first spot we went was mainly sand, the entrance in and the exit out were pretty nerve wracking. I could have sworn we were going to tip, but we made it. After that we went to a spot that was mainly all mud and water, nothing deep though. It was all pretty easy stuff, for people that have been doing this, but for my first time I was pretty nervous but in the end, I can't wait to go out and do it again on those trails and new ones. If anyone in MD wants to meet up and do these trails we definitely should! The pics don't really show much off, but it was exciting for me, so don't hate. The little mud I got is unfortunately being washed away by the rain right now.

I was only 2 mins away from my house, waiting to turn onto our street. The girl claims she dropped her water bottle and was trying to pick it up off the floor. That doesn't seem safe at 45 mph to me. Well anyways everyone was ok in the end. Took some pics, just went and got the estimate today for the repairs, almost 8 grand for it.

I am having it at my rents place in Andover, NJ (where all my tools, air compressor, and driveway space are) on August 28th (this is tentative and I will keep this thread updated). They have been kind enough to let me use the drive and have some peeps over for the install.

I will have PLENTY of beer and food and we may even go out on the boat and do some wakeboarding if we get it done fast enough. We will prob be grilling burgers and dogs on the deck and they live right on the water in the middle of a state park...so it will be fun..

PM me for exact directions and/or cell #. Hope to see some of you there.
