Hi guys, the oem fog lights that SE Xterras come with or similar for cheaper price, my Xterra was purchased without the fog lights. I chose to get them myself than been charge an arm and a leg from the dealer.
Thanx...

I installed all OEM parts myself, stalk with switch, $70...two lights with hardware, about $160 for a grand total of $230. Installation is a breeze. Do yourself a favor and remove the bumper or you are gonna have some busted knuckles.

Miles,
Welcome to the Club!!! I have done the fog light install as well. If I recall correctly there is a writeup on this process in the DIY Section. I did not remove the bumper, and it was a very simple process. There are a couple of different places where you can purchase the lights, hardware and turn signal stalk (which is a simple snap in btw). They can be purchased for about 255 total through Dick Smith Nissan in Columbia, SC, or through Courtesy Nissan in Texas, or through one of our members Jersey Parts (obviously in New Jersey). Let me know if you wan and I can post up the actual individual part numbers for everything you need.
On another note, what other mods do you have in mind? I highly reccomend the Sunglass holder that mounds in the headliner. I did a write up on that one in the DIY section. Just for convienence that one really appealed to me. Next up is the Mirror with temp, compass, and Home Link buttons. GenTex is the brand for that.
Thanks,
Donald

i tried an aftermarket set before i went with the stock nissans...there's no good way to mount the lights in the stock location unless you have the nissan brackets...the aftermarket ones i put in would just bounce around everytime i hit a bump so i got fed up with them and went with the stocks....i changed out the bulbs for some brighter ones and couldn't be happier...the install is a breeze....there's a great write up around here somewhere on how to do it, and they are definitely worth the money
