hey y'all just bought an 08. looking forward to taking it off the pavement out here in northern arizona. not a crazy off roader, but looking more for trailhead access.
looking to keep up on news and was hoping for some info.
can anyone recommend a specific hitch to install that doesn't sit low? any help or photos would be great. point me in the right direction. every hitch site has a hitch photo, but i've had no luck finding photos of what the hitch looks like when it is installed.
thanks!

replace the rear bumper with a shrockworks or fab your own.. .
the bolt on bars will hang low on you... you'll snag it.. i'm in the same boat i'm currently designing mine on cad my neighbor will be fabricating it for me.

Did you check out the nissan factory hitch? I don't think they appear 'low', but may not be what you're looking for... Not sure what looks like on your rig, but on mine - I thought it blends well....
I think can be installed without changing bumper - but not that familiar with your model.
If you like the looks, just call a dealership and ask what they would do if you got a factory hitch from them to see what it involves and if it requires a bumper change( then do it your self)...

you dont have to change your bumper with a regular hitch.. LOL and please dont go to the dealer and have them install one for you cause they are going to charge way to much... here is a hitch for you... http://www.etrailer.com/pc-H~V82852.htm?vehicleid=20086935
