Like I said in my intro, I have a ton of experience with Jeeps & was in search of another when my bro-in-law offered his Xterra for the right price. I did some quick internet searching and bought it.
Thanks to the opinions and threads on this board, at 107,000 miles my X now has:
new timing belt
new water pump
new drive belts
new plugs & wires
new 265-70-16 Grabber AT2s
new tranny fluid (I used the unhook the tranny cooler line method)
I also adjusted the TB to level it out, added XM radio, and ski racks (which will soon be replaced with a basket rack) I went with a combination of paint and heat to bring the plastic back to original.
I'm sure a PML is not far off.
Everything I did came under the guidence/instruction of clubxterra! A big thanks to all!

You know Id hate to say it but I think im gonna throw my steps back on I like the look of them as compared to off.

I thought the steps would be the first thing I would remove but I left them on & they grew on me. I figure they are kind of the Xterra signature.

well if you still have them when you take it off road you will be sorry. It won't take much for those to get bent up from the rocks.
