Sometimes i think i'm crazy, and this just might confirm it...
hehe just kidding.
I'M JOINING THE ARMY!
No joke.
I'm excited scared nervous all at the same time! but it should be a great experience, really looking forward to opening this new chapter in my life.
I've been dying to tell you guys for a couple weeks now but i wanted to wait until I did my ASVAB and got a general idea of a time frame.
So now my ultimate goal the next couple weeks/months is to wheel as much as possible!!! lol

Thats AWESOME...I spent almost 8 years in the Army before I got out in 2000. I would have stayed longer if not for my son, moving around every two years gets to be a pain in the ass, but I loved it...make sure you get all the training you can. Airborne school, Air Assault school...all that good shit. Good luck!

Congradulations, and welcome to the club. You're joining a fraternity that only a few can ever say they belonged to, there's a number of us here that are current and prior service, most of us know who we are. It'll serve you well in the future also, it's a ready made meal ticket for jobs and services for the rest of your life. A quick suggestion for boot camp, keep your eyes and ears open, your mouth shut and when your drill instructor is nose to nose with you and letting you know what he or she thinks of your parents; it's nothing personal.
