This is going to sound stupid, but here goes.....
What is the minimum tire size that you can put on an xterra without voiding warranty. The reason I ask is that I was told that my Winter Tires
P 235/75/15 would throw off my speedometer. I'm sorta confused due to the fact that in the 2001 Xterra that my fiancee just bought it says in both the manual and inside the glove box that P 235/75/15 are acceptable. But in my 2002 Xterra it does not say.

Any takers on this?:biggrin:

BTW the warranty that I have on my Xterra is not through Nissan itself but thru Subaru where the vehicle was traded in before I bpught her.

These are all roughly 29" tires...so the speedo wouldn't be off.

Also - A warrenty void action MUST PROVE that the mod CAUSED the failure of a covered part...there is no such thing as "Voiding the Warrenty".

You can void the warrenty on a particular part or parts, but not the entire warrenty as a concept.

If this warrenty is in writing...you should read it to be sure that the stealership's aftermarket warrenty/extended warrenty doesn't have any looney exceptions that a real warrenty can't have, etc.



But, again, they are all roughly 29" diameter tires anyway....so the Stealership is already blowing smoke up your ass.
