The only 18 gauge shotgun I ever had, I gave to my father a few years ago. I rarely used it, and he wanted it so I gave it to him. After all he give me the Wildey, so how could I refuse.

I wish there were more places around where I live where you can go shooting. I havent been shooting in like 16 years.

I have a question - What is a choke/full choke?

Can u not take the wildey into NYC for a little target practice

The choke pinches the shot pellets down for game that is farther away, so they stay as a group for longer time

You cannot legally have a handgun in NYC.

I havent shot that Wildey since I've owned it. When my dad had it I did a few times, but now a days it's just something cool to look at. Its kinda hard to fire off a .475 magnum without people noticing....

Hey is that Tommy gun of yours functional is is it just a collectors item?

Yes, I'm afraid it's the real thing.....all legally transferred I better add, It is a Korean war commemorative model, thats why the gold and stuff. I purchased it in unfired condition, but guess what  I,m not gonna sit around and polish the dam thing. It will shoot $10.00 ammo in about four seconds

law is....don't get caught.

Thats dangerous territory to treading water in. Every state that I travel to that allows concealed carry in the car I have my pistol at the ready. I plan ahead using the above site. If I cross into a state that isn't gun friendly (my home state of Illinois) I stop at a rest area before crossing state lines and pull my gun out and apart and lock it up.

I am a concealed carry license holder and I don't want to lose my rights because I got charged with a felony/misdeamnor because I didn't want to follow the rules.

If you are unsure... you can always lock the gun up with a gun lock and store the ammunition and magazines in separate places. If you think the gun is hot...don't travel with it or have a the police do a scan on serial numbers to clear your conscience.

Remington Express Magnum 12 ga (side sadle, handle on the pump)
Bushmaster M4 (LMT SOPMOD Stock, ACOG, Surefire, Knights Armament Rails, GG&G pistol grip, pressure pad for weapons light, tac-latch)
Kimber Custom II 1911 .45 (night sites and extended mags)
Glock 22 .40 (night sites, extended mag, Streamlight weapons light)
2 Walther P22s (one with a threaded barrel)
GSG-5 .22 (forward grip and rail system)
Savage .308 (bipod and scope)
Mossberg .22 semi auto
Marlin .30-.30
I think that's it, can't remember now.

In the works:
Sig P226 Tactical Supressor Ready Pistol 9mm
Taurus Judge .45 Long Colt and .410 ga shells
Remington 1187

As for crossing state lines with firearms:

Do the research yourself. Contact law enforcement, check out local, state and federal government websites regarding this topic, as well as national organizations. Don't rely on a truck forum to answer these questions, we are all from different states. My WA CCL does not carry over into CA since CA carry laws and WA carry laws are very different. In WA state I can carry a 15 round magazine (or more), in CA you cannot carry more than a 10 round mag, period. Gun laws are different everywhere...it is YOUR resonsibility to know the local laws and abide by them...that is part of your duty as the law-abiding gun toting citizen.

Remington 700 - .223
Remington 11-87 - 12 gauge
Remington fieldmaster - .22
Remington XR-100 - .22-250 (my pride and joy)
Ruger 10/22
Parker Ballard - 30-06
Mossberg 500 - 20 gauge
Berretta 92 FS - 9mm

I'm not really into guns I can't use to hunt with. I only have two that I Can't hunt with. The 10/22 is just a blast to have. And the beretta is a 'just in case' gun.

Hey don't worry about not having a big list. I never used to own my own guns because I didn't see the need I lived near some one who had a personal armory. Heck i just started collecting in the last year or so.

I collect with historical significance or fun or defense. Pick out what you wanna collect in and obsess :).
