: another bumper casualty
Anthony 08-08-2006, 01:47 PM So get this... someone must have hit my back bumper in the parking lot at my office today or yesterday. Its pushed in against the spare. They didn't hit hard enough to where there is any damage to anything, but its clearly moved, and the right hand side is about 0.25 - 0.5" higher. I was able to yank on it enough to get it just barely off the spare. But dammit, that pisses me off. I hope they crumpled their bumper or hood when they hit it.
Hello, Rent-A-Jersey Driver?
Yes, I need to rent a NJ driver to hit the ass of an X...
Yes, that's right, just enough to justify a mod....thank you too, bye!
:D
Nancy 08-08-2006, 02:32 PM LoL
that's a classic right there!
Anthony, sorry to hear about that! I hate when people hit and run, it's definately done by people with no integrity.
Anthony 08-08-2006, 03:05 PM Yeah, and they have no excuse. I have signs on the sides of my truck with my name and phone number on them.
I actually saw a woman back into another car, get out, look at hers and the other's damages, look around, noticed by standers checking out the action, get a pen and paper, and write a note, slipping it under the wiper of the victim, and drive away.
I then saw the victim come out of the store, see the dent, and then read the note...and then throw it away in anger.
As I had my groceries now loaded, I asked what the note said....she said NOTHING!!!! ITS just scribbles!
So the perp had scribbled on some paper to look like she was doing the right thing....and booked.
I went back to my truck, and got the piece of paper I had noted the perp's plate on.....and traded the victim for the scribble paper.
:D

Anthony 08-08-2006, 08:11 PM I backed into someone in the parking lot a month ago. NO damage to my car, dent in her hood. Nobody witnessed. I left a note with my number. I ended up paying almost $1000 for her repairs.
