I just bought a 05 SE 4x4. I love the outdoors hunting, fishing, camping, snowboarding. I am looking to do a few upgrades to the x but not looking to spend a fortune, like most people. I would like to get ideas of upgrades that are out there and the different sites. Also few different places to go in the Mid Tn area that i can go offroad. Thanks, Jeremy

hey welcome to the club! Your Bible is 4x4parts.com <-- most everything you will want/need can be found their.

If your looking for a small cheap lift, you can get a PML (poor mans lift) Its will lift your Xterra about 1.5in with a couple simple things, for a total of less than $100. Her is a pic of a before and after from TremorX's X: http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z19/Eemoo13/xterrabarearqa7.png http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z19/Eemoo13/xterrabafrontns2.png
Hope that helps a little. Post up some pix of your X, we all want to see it!

Welcome to CX! :wink-big:

There are many many parks in Tennessee but I'm not sure how many will cater to a newer vehicle that you wouldn't want to tag with body damage. Coal Creek Off-Road Park in Oliver Springs will be your best bet and it's an absolute blast. Myself and a few others go there every couple of months. Wide trails and well maintained so as long as you stick to the moderate trails, you'll have a great time. I would recommend skid plates before attempting anything of the difficult rating there. My undercarriage will attest to that.

If you ever decide to go, let me know and I can tell you several trails that would be safe for you and a good time as well.

The NOAS club will be having an open-invite run in May there. You don't have to be a member for this run. The only stipulation is you must own a nissan and be willing to get it dirty.:)
