Good day everyone.
I recently purchased a 08 Xterra. And really do like the thing!
I have been in the Army for 16.5yrs and am an Field Artillery man. Been deployed a few times and have had the oportunity to drive lots of foreign vehicles while stationed in Germany for 7 yrs. I love cars and previous vehicles I have owned are... an 72 Datsun Pickup, 79 Opel Kadett, 82 Fiat Tipo, 00 Civic Si, 02 RSX Type S, 96 Acura TL, 96 Talon TSI AWD, 04 WRX, 05 Legacy GT, 05 Scion Xb and still have a 08 Sentra.
The mod bug is always there! I really like the X, well everything but the gas mileage! And yeah I knew what I was getting myself into when I bought it. Was thinking there should be some things out there that I can pick up to improve the MPG's a bit. Figure the basics, CAI and exhaust to start. And was thinking about a tune after that. Anyone have any recommendations? I do more driving in town during the week. And on the weekends I am fishing quite a bit.. usually my drive to fish is around 90 miles. And sometimes that would be with the boat in the back...
Thanks and glad to be on the board!
