My blower is not working on numbers 1,2 & 3, but it will work on number 4. They tell me that it is probably the blower motor resistor. Does anyone know where the blower moter reisistor is located? Thanks!!

Its located on the passenger side foot well. To get at it properly you'll probally need to take off your glove box. You'll also need a philips screwdriver as well. It looks like a little computer chip about the sixe of a credit card. It's held in place by 2 - 3 screws. I'll see if I can post some picks tomorrow. Good luck.

Found it! Thanks for the reply. It wasn't hard to change at all. You were right, we had to take the glove box off to get to it better. Works great now!!

that is probably one of the easiest fixes on the Xterra.

Can someone explain this to me? --

High setting is wired to battery voltage and bypasses the resistors. So even if the resistors are out high still works. :)

nope, you lost me. I guess my question is "number 1,2,3 and 4" what?

I have the same problem now. What does the resistor look like and where did you get the new one? Thanks
