I know some people have problems or dislikes about Calmini. I really never have. So you can imagine my surprise when my friend calls me up and says "Hey bro, didn't you say you wanted a front bumper?" Well yea! I've been dieing to get one, but as allways they have been monetarily out of reach. He said "no problem, a friend of a friend is getting me a rear bumper with tire carrier and will get you his front Calmini bumper for $100, do you want it?" Well #$%#$ yes I do! So, come next Sat. I will be installing my new Calmini Bumper! For $100!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you, thank you. I knew someone would get that. I don't want to keep you waiting, but I am left with no other option. I had a really busy weekend. Friday I got my tattoo finished, Sat, I removed my bumper, and Sunday! I kept as busy as I could untill 2:30 when we were suposed to meet. I got a call and he said not untill 4:30. Right before I was to leave, he called and said not untill 5:30. So at 4:45, I was so ansey(?) I got in my truck and went over there. Half way there he called and said, not till 7:30. So at 7:45 it finally arrived! yea! So we go to put it on, and as I guessed, it came from an 01. The front grill on the 01 does not protrude as far as the 04's do. So instead of a 30 minute proceedure it took 2.5 hours! Then we had to put his on. We did not finish untill 10:45 and I didn't get home until 11:45, just to wake up this morn to go to work! Needless to say, I am DEAD tired. I will post up the pics tomarrow. Thanks for letting me vent!

looking great... i had the same problem with the runners on my X cause my little girl couldnt get in... but i took them off one day and when i went to put them on one of the bolts was striped and i keep putting it off...

Hell ya dude...that's hot sh!t right there man. For $100, I'd live with the disappointment of Calmini's coatings. Like Ian said; $10 in some Rustoleum and you're good to go.

can you remove the 2" reciever and install a winch instea? I know Calmini sells it as an option but yours almost looks welded in. Looks good though

That is right. It does have the cover plate. It's an $85 option. It's held in with 4 bolts. It also has predrilled holes for the running lights I'm putting on!

great lookin bumper! that calmini bumper is probably the least common bumper out of all the aftermarket winch bumpers...even the TJM bumper is more popular than that one
