A guy from the Virginia Xterra Club who SASd his last year.

I always liked the military star theme he had on that Xterra...he has since taken them off though.

Either way, it's one hell of a Canteen Xterra.

they run from the front tire to the rear. its protects the rocker panels when ur going over big rocks and stuff. most people have em from shrockworks or calmini

Yea, they replace the stock running boards. They also stick out further than the stock running boards so in case you slide sidewase into something, your sliders hit first. (I think thats how its supposed to work)

And they look sweet!

I will take some pics of my canteen green X tomarrow. Its stock except for a Schrock Front Bumper. (it was dire, I needed a new bumper anywise, so I shelled out the xtra $200 for the steel beast)

They also do a great job deflecting people's car doors when they park next to you and decide to open their door into your Xterra. I've noticed on more than one occasion that I have someone's paint marks on my sliders (red, white, blue, green, etc...)....but they weren't able to get my doors....which is nice sometimes. If I'm going to dent or ding my rig...it's not going to be in a parking lot; it's going to be on a damn trail...and I'm going to do it myself....Grandma isn't going to rain on my parade by opening the door of her Olds 88 into the side of my truck :mocking: ;)

lol..yeah, I've never been there to see it happen, but like I said; it's always funny to see the scuff marks and paint chips on my sliders when I come out of a store.
