Nice pics. I wish we would get some friggin' snow. The weather here is such B.S. It's barely been above 20 degrees for the past two weeks and it hasn't done a damn thing but be unbearably cold.

lol Yeah I talked to my cousins in Flushing, MI and you guys can keep that single digit/ sub-zero crap up there. I'm thin-blooded... if it drops below 60, I'm cold.

it was 13 when i woke up this morning....took the trash out in shorts.....not too bad.

crazy how 13 seems warm when it's been -10 for 2 weeks

well its been like between 7-30 here in the past week and it only snowed about 3 inches but none of it sticked on the roads cuz they put so much f***in slat down. i hate it. but off road there is snow,

and tameroflions yeah i took that out from under there a long time ago. i had it on the roof but then i was really top heavy and it was annoying me. and i put on my hi-jack and my tire was in the way. i want to put a swing bumper on it but don't have the cash for it right now. so its been in trunk just laying down

why don't you get Richard over on NOAS build you a tire carrier? He did mine for $225
He is in High Point, NC He can also build you a rear bumper too.
I highly recommend his work

how is your roof rack holding up with the hi lift on there? are the holes elongating? i picked up the grade 8 hardware to mount it up, but im not sure if i wanna drill through the rack rail....does it seem sturdy still? and do you have any kind of lock washers on it, or just the wingnuts?

here i made a how to for you EZ-hi-lift holder (http://www.clubxterra.org/forums/showthread.php?p=99415#post99415)

i havent had any elongating and no i just use plain washers.

I would get a ratchet strap to hold your spare down in the back. If you get into an accident or even some rugged trails, it could become a 70lb. projectile inside of your vehicle. When I have my 33's on, I strap the spare in the cargo area with a ratchet strap going from the cargo loops on the backseat diagonally across the tire to the tie-down at the back.

i have one of them cages in my truck it was there when i bought my truck. so i dont really have to worry about that. but thanks good idea for others.

cool, thanks bud...i picked up some 1/2" grade 8 bolts, washers, and wingnuts, and some squishy neoprene rubber washers to help dissipate some of the force...i'm probably gonna pull the passenger's side rack rail off and drill them at 90* angles to minimize the gravitational force pulling on the metal

thanks for the pics

p.s. i didnt forget about the slider pictures for you....well, ok...i did...ill take some when i get home tonight
