Most bump stops eventually get compressed anyways so there may not be a need for them.

I have a set on mine. Not really much to gain with them other than another 1/2" of clearance from your bumpstop to your UCA. You can also pick them up at like Pep Boys, Autozone, etc. They are a universal fit IIRC.

are they worth getting??

For the headache that they are to install, not really. I wouldn't have gotten mine had I known how big of a PITA they were to put on. It's not that it's hard to do but where the bolt goes into the x-member, you can barely fit a wrench on it to turn it and even then it's only like a 1/16 of a turn that you can make.

but is it worth it for the extra lift??

well, remember that since they are lower profile, you can crank your torsion bars for the extra lift, but then you run into issues like steering angles even worse than with a PML and CV angles even worse too.....

so, they might be worth it for the extra height, but maybe not worth it when you run through centerlinks like water and you have to keep 3 cv's on hand at all times

IMHO i wouldnt bother with them

i have been in the offroad industry for a while now and would advise against those. Well unless your rig is set up for only rock crawling and don't really need large bump stops (b/c you are moving at a slower rate.) The down fall the the tiny bumps are:
when driving at a decent rate of speed you WILL feel the bumps.
when offroading and hitting the bumps a lot and there being no cushion you are more prone to breakage. - I have seen starters fall from some vehicles -
if your not going to be doing any of the above or you don't mind a bumpy ride, then go for it. But think about it. How much farther can you get up that rock with another 3/4" of travel?

I have them on my rig...they've been on the Xterra I own for the past 4 years, and there has never been a single issue. I've wheeled plenty with the guy that owned the Xterra before me...no issues with CV boot problems, I've got the Calmini steering upgrade so the steering issue isn't a problem either. Essentially, it allows a little more room on mine for day to day driving...the front end is as soft as can be, and there's around 3.5" of lift on the front end if I had to play the guessing game. No wheel hopping when going over bumps on the road at high speed, no contact with the bumpstops, etc..

Get them if you want, it's your call...just know that I haven't had any problems with them, nor has anyone I know that's been running them...and that's quite a few people.

Take out the stock stops and shave about 1/2 to 3/4" off of them and put them back in. The compound on the stock stops is a little softer than the after market ones. This has worked out fine for me.
