Replacing V Belt

Dificulty: 1.5 (out of 5)

Tools Needed:
Torque Wrench
3/8" Ratchet
10mm socket
Socket extension (4" would work)
#2 Flat Head Screw Driver

Overview:
I figure I would take the steps from my alternator change out and make a quick How-To for the V-Belt. This is a simple task (amazingly simple). The hardest part is trying to remember which way the belt goes back on.

Steps:
1. Using #2 flat had screw driver Loosen the hose clamps on the air intake tube.
2. Using 10mm socket, remove the two bolts from the front of the engine cover (where it says 4.0L).
3. Using 10mm socket, remove the two bolts holding the air intake tube down.
4. Remove air intake cover and disconnect both sides of tube (lay tube out of the way).
5. Stuff clean rag into engine side of air intake (to keep crap out).
6. Using a 3/8" ratchet pull the V-Belt auto Tensioner to the left (counter clock wide) and hold it there.
7. Work the belt off the pulleys.
8. Install new belt.
9. Using a 3/8" ratchet pull the V-Belt auto Tensioner to the left (counter clock wide) and hold it there.
10. Work the belt onto the pulleys.
11. Make sure the belt is centered on all the pulleys.
12. Re-assemble the air intake tube and engine cover.
