Any winter tire recommendations for a 2005 S?
I think they should be 215/65/16. Is that right? What other options are there?
Cheers

Thanks. I'm separated from her at the moment - to be reunited tomorrow morning- and the jokers at the dealership in my new town told me the wrong stuff.
I'm going to pick up some 265/75/16's tomorrow.
Cheers!

Haha good deal. Listen to us, not the dealership. I guess they just tell you stuff to get extra money for Xmas shopping! =P

Tks! I got some Yokohama i/T's this morning - 265/75/16. And they handled great in the storm they have taken to calling "Snowmaggedon"!

Hell yeah "snowmageddon"!! I'm getting all this weather just before you dude....strap in. I just shoveled about 6 inches off my driveway and it's covered again. It's definately coming down in "inches per hour".
I'm headed to canada in a week or so to snowboard!!!
I love Canada. And Snowboarding. What a Combo.

I have a 2005 S and I just upgraded the tires. I got p265/75/16 Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armors....

They are much better than the BFG Radial Long Trails were in the snow.
I used this to base my decision....

Might have gone with the Michelin's if they weren't like $210 a tire in that size.

They are nice quiet tires with good traction. My VDC doesn't kick on and I don't slide nearly as much as I was with my Radial Long trails. Even when they were newer and not bald.
It snowed a descent amount here, I might have to go find a field and give them a half assed snowy off road test.

i doubt mine will ever see snow, being is se texas, lol
but they are a fantastic all around tire thats for sure, worhtless in mud though, but that goes for any AT

Yeah, on the same notion, mud tires are pretty worthless in the snow and on the road. I could never justify putting mud terrain tires on my daily driver.
