This is the result of my late october bike trip up to the local foothills of central california.

We were out to ride around ~150 miles for the day

and about 3 miles from our last stop of the day before heading home, I wrecked. I guess I was getting tired after riding all day, and was keeping up with the fastest guy in our group. I went into a right turn and either grabbed the front brake real hard or just leaned to far in then SMACK! everything went black. I woke up 3 feet from the edge of a steep ~50 degree hill. I stood up and tried to fiure out where i was, and WHERE IS MY BIKE!?! Well:

Talk about suck!
Well the rest of my crew came up a minute later and had the same concern, WHERES YOUR BIKE! haha. I called my girlfriend's mom to have her and the 'pa in law' bring up their, 'ahem', jeep to pull my bike out and another buddy brought his silverado to bring it home. I was mostly unharmed:

im all healed now, but things could have easily been much much worse

So after all this excitement I've ordered about 300 bux worth of parts to make it ride-able again. The damage isn't too bad really. The frame and subframe are perfect, the only damage was to the plastics, muffler, mirrors, headlight(scratches), and the small steel frame that holds the front cowl on(replaced with new).
EVERYONE else I work with has bikes and all but one of them has wrecked, got impounded, or broke down since then. Mostly wrecked. Buncha damn noobs!
I'm going to sell the bike when it's all rideable again. I just can't stand spending so much damn money on this stupid bike when i could be spending it on my TRUCK!
So ya, stay safe out there! And remember, there are two kinds of riders, those that have wrecked, and those who are going to.
