well first, i want to do some small stuff first. i need to get some bass in my ride and upgrade the head unit as well as some headrest monitors. then when money surfice's, i want to get a hitch and some fog light's. definately
(2) for the front bumber and then some on the roof rack. then when all the small stuff is done, i need some rims. i want to keep with the black w/ polished lip. i just think it looks bitchin'(opinions may vary). maybe later a bush guard and winch. other than that, it'll come to me as time goes by.:kaffee-big:

If u want BASS get a sub!!!.... head unit, im guessing is a deck and there hundreds u can choose from.... but as far as bush guards go i would have to vote no on that, they do not hold up well and just look bad... lol least to me but if want it get it......

every one here will say ditch the brush guard for off roading. because the guard takes away from approach angles. and if you hit something it can end up doing more damage than protecting you. replace the hole front bumper. shrockworks makes a good quality bumper with winch mounts.

love to see the polished lip with black rims, always looks good. Machine the edge down or remove the paint and polish the original lip? If you're just driving around in the city, you could consider a brush guard as some protection, although if you hit something at the right speed and height, it'll bend back into the upper part of your bumper, which might have otherwise been fine. If you're doing offroading though, Shrockworks or a similar bumper is your best bet for an upgrade path.

yeah, Ill say ditch the brush guard and go with shrocks. Cheap way for 'new' rims.. Just paint your current ones black.... You can spend 5 bucks on new rims! haha.. new looking ones anyways.... =)

It's why the term "damage multiplier" is used for a brush guard. Anything you hit with it will multiply the damage to your own truck x 5...regardless of whether you hit something off road or on road.

Otherwise...what Skooby said ^^^^^^^^

agreed with the comment "damage multiplier"

i did think about doing that with my existing rims. i think the only reason for the brush guard was for the winch. maybe i'll stay away from that then. i do need to get a new in-dash unit. i've been looking at a power acoustik single din dvd head unit and a couple of power acoustik headrest monitors for the video. i'm also gonna build my my own box for a couple of subs. tunes and vid's first i'm thinking.
