The bunk is comfy. I logged many flight hours sleeping there.
Then I got smart and sarted hanging a hammock in the back everywhere I went.

Real passengers fly in web seating! With of pair of ear plugs given to them by the crew chief of course. Oh, and let me sit facing backwards too, sitting forwards is for civilian wimps.

Yes I remember that, in one of my earlier posts I mentioned facing inwards towards the cargo. I do know that most military passenger planes have reward facing seating to reduce injuries in case of a crash. My tour of duty ended while on the Vinson, I left the ship on a COD flight. I and about a dozen others strapped into reward facing seats. Only time in my life I got airsick. Going off the end of the flight deck makes you stomach come up.

I'll bet. Only time I flew backwards was in a C-5 from Germany to Deleware with a brief stop in Iceland where 2 other C-5's both broke for a couple of days with full PAX onboard. Last thing I saw before we got back on the plane was a bunch people who were on leave assembling cots in the gym there. :wink-big: Ah, the wonderful world of space A travel.

I've been wanting to ask you and unclehardrock a question that popped into my head recently. I know you're both zeros, so I assume we all have the same insurance company. I've got my "quarter century" USAA sticker on the back of my Xterra, how about you two??

Here's proof. USAA handles all aspects of my life, all my insurance needs, financial, brokerage and they've financed both my escape and my xterra. Once you've been with them as long as I have, you wonder how you ever got along without them. I decided to purchase my xterra on my second visit to the dealer, I called USAA and said I was buying another truck, they talked to the dealer for a few minutes, and I drove it home. Insured it at the same time too.
Hey I like W's, basically a super senior enlisted man, and you have to salute them too.
