I have a 2002 xterra with stock tires, no mods. While driving 70mph in normal conditons (level ground, no wind), my RPMs seem to be a little higher than normal. I swear they used to be around 2500 but i've
noticed recently they are b/w 2900 and 3000.

what is the normal RPM @ 70mph w/ a 02? :confused:

Sorry to make my question seem so urgent. :D

If it is auto trans. my theory would be perhaps the temperature of the torque converter might cause this phenomenon.........
