I'm located in NW Washington a bit less than a mile from the Canadian border.
Nothing very special about my Xterra except the Warn hubs, oversize tires and I like it so far. Ordered a Haynes manual - haven't received it yet. Have any of you changed a timing belt on your own? Is it do-able or just a pain?

it is very duable if you know your tools.. LOL also you said "the warn hubs" you know the factory hubs were made by warn right??? LOL i take it you got manual locking hubs... and last but not least welcome to the club.....

Timing belts are a pain (in general). If I were to, I'd buy the components off the web and pay the dealership to do it.

I will see if anyone has done it around here and I'll post up a way if I find it. Maybe we'll set up a Mod day like some of the other members are doing.
