Can anybody suggest a remote starter for the Xterra? Getting ready to move back up North and don't want to freeze waiting for my ride to thaw out. Thanks.

DEI is the best stuff out there in my opinion. I have had a DEI remote start set up with the Ungo alarm system on another Nissan many moons ago.

Thanks...I read up on DEI and it sounds like the best out there compared to the others I've been looking at.

Absolutely cannot go wrong with the DEI.

Let me know how it works out. Are you going to do the install yourself, or have it done at a shop? Let me know if you need any help.

I'll probably do it myself, but I'll wait till I get to New York in a couple of weeks. I'll try to post pics of the whole process.

i had a clifford, which is part of dei, in my previous vehicle. i had nothing but trouble with it. it worked good for about 2 months.....after that it just went to hell. seemed like you had to be really close in order for it to work. the remote eventually quit working. it still looked like new. maybe it was issues with the person that installed it.....who knows

I just got an ASTROSTART top of the line auto starter/security system combo. INSANE! Love it!
